It’s been now 10 years since I cured my Graves’ Disease and was declared “euthyroid” by the doctors. I can’t believe it was so long ago and yet- it feels like yesterday! Honestly, I never believed I’ll make it 10 years Graves’ Disease Free!
This year, again, wasn’t so easy for me in all aspects. I don’t know, may be I am just in some sort of a challenging period of my life… But the good news is that there are 16 000 people subscribers on my list, our Facebook group has grown to over 1600 members and my Facebook page is growing very fast as well:
That, believe me, requires a lot of work, every single day…

So, as a tradition, and those of you who know me probably since 2005, I share every year briefly what happened to me in my life for the past year, besides the fact that I’ll be 43 in just a few days and I am getting really old!! 🙂
I finished with my Master’s Degree in Psychology (not I didn’t have one before, but apparently Europe and the USA have different opinions regarding credentials). I am happy to be able to share with you that I graduated with Honors (regardless of my age and my memory decline:) and hope to set a good example for my daughter.
My daughter is a Junior this year and also plays in a Volleyball club. Times just flies by. This is how old she was when I got sick with Graves’ Disease and now she is a young lady! But still driving me crazy sometimes…parents with children that age will understand. Now her plans are to become a pilot, which really scares me..

I never stopped researching and reading new information about Graves’ Disease, Hyperthyroidism and Thyroid eye Disease and I am trying to present to you all recent researches and everything that I know. And it helps a lot when I read about your experience, ideas and tips! Thank you so much, you are a well of inspiration, every single day!

A MRI showed that my eye was perfectly normal and in place. “Hi Svetla, Just wanted to let you know that I am finally sleeping better at night. I’ve been on the herbs/vitamins for about 6 wks. I started sleeping better after about 1-2 wks. A lot of nights I don’t even take the Valerian Root anymore and am sleeping fine. Overall, I am taking most all of the herbs and vitamins that were listed in your book with the exception of a few. My heart palpitations/racing, skipping beats, etc., rarely happen at all anymore, just every now and then. It did this almost all the time even on my prescribed heart medication. Rhonda |

| Svetla, just had to share that I stopped my methimazole, after 2.5 yrs, a month ago and all levels are normal! I attribute a big part of my success to change of diet (I am eating more veggies than ever, and am eating 60-70% raw foods). I am managing stress very well and exercising regularly.
